Mission
To provide a well-rounded education with solid academic grounding, instructing students in the truths of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and forming young people with judgement of their own and a high moral and spiritual standard.
At Colegio Bautista del Alto Paraná, faith does not accompany the teaching from the outside — it is its foundation.
The school opened its doors in the Boquerón neighbourhood of Ciudad del Este, and in 2025 it marked twenty-five years.
Over that quarter-century the school grew to cover the full span of Paraguayan schooling: early years, basic education and secondary education.

To provide a well-rounded education with solid academic grounding, instructing students in the truths of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and forming young people with judgement of their own and a high moral and spiritual standard.
That our graduates have a positive impact on society — useful to themselves, their families, their community and the generations that follow.
Scripture as authority and Christ at the centre of school life.
A high moral standard, visible in how an exam is sat and in how a classmate is treated.
Academic effort understood as a response to the gifts received, not as competition.
The school supports parents in forming their children; it does not replace them.
A Christian school is not defined by having a Bible period on the timetable, but by the vantage point from which it looks at everything it teaches. These four texts — which the school has used for years in its ceremonies, its banners and its cover image — order every area of school life.
We walk with each student along their way, knowing that what is sown in these years remains long after the last class.
«Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.»
Proverbs 22:6
Academic rigour does not compete with faith: it comes from it. All true knowledge has one and the same origin.
«For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.»
Proverbs 2:6
We form young people with judgement of their own, able to stand by what they believe outside the classroom and unsupervised.
«Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.»
Joshua 1:9
The text that presides over our gymnasium, and that sums up why this school exists.
«Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life.»
John 14:6
The motto with which the school marked its twenty-fifth year. Every student receives different abilities, and the question we put to them is not how much they can achieve with them, but for whom.
We belong to the Association of Christian Schools International, founded in 1978 and present in more than a hundred countries. It is the largest association of Christian schools in the world.
